The organic choice and other company certifications

Since its foundation, "L'Ulif” has aimed at quality production that respects the environment, equipping itself with the necessary certifications to be able to qualify as an organic farm. In view of this, in order to protect the health of those who work on the land, consumers and the entire surrounding environment, it has banned herbicides, chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides from its production processes, implementing agronomic practices to prevent diseases, care for soil fertility and respect for biodiversity.

Achieving soil fertility and taking care of crops with virtuous methods is in fact part of the company's philosophy, such as preventing possible vine and olive tree diseases by using only natural fertilizers and pesticides in minimal dosages, respecting nature and its balance. Choices reaffirmed with the adherence to the biodynamic system, even more stringent in its specifications. 

Organic certification since 1989

The company is certified for the production of organic wine grapes, oil olives, extra virgin olive oil and wine. The Control Body for organic products is C.C.P.B. srl. Here you can consult the valid organic Certificate of Conformity.

Biodynamic certification

Issued by Demeter, it certifies the production of biodynamic wine grapes, oil olives, extra virgin olive oil and wine. The Certificate of Conformity. can be consulted here.

Garda Bresciano DOP - Olio Garda DOP

Certification for the production of olives and Garda Bresciano DOP extra virgin olive oil by the C.S.Q.A. Control Body and membership of the Consortium for the Protection of Garda PDO Oil.

Riviera del Garda Classico DOC
Certification for the production of wine grapes and white, rosé and red wines Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, Valtènesi sub-area, by the Control Body C.C.P.B. srl and membership of the Valtènesi Consortium.

Furthermore, in order to stay up-to-date on the requirements and technical innovations of the sector, the company is affiliated for organic certification to the Lombard Association of Organic and Biodynamic Farmers "La Buona Terra"" www.labuonaterra.it, for biodynamic certification to the Association for Biodynamic Agriculture www.biodinamica.org, for olive cultivation to AIPOL www.aipol.bs.it and finally, for vineyard management, to the Valtènesi consortium  www.consorziovaltenesi.it.
